Alongside our conversations with ambassadors, we are opening space for personal stories. Stories is a new series from Otvorena Prilika — conversations with people from Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region who built their path through work, education and persistence.
What are Stories?
In our episodes with ambassadors we talk about systems — scholarships, programmes and institutions. Stories is the other side of that coin: real people and the paths they took.
Here we do not share deadlines and forms, but experience — how someone started, what it cost them, what they would do differently today. We believe young people need both: the information and the example.
What can you expect?
Short, honest conversations without varnish. In every story we look for:
- a real path, with obstacles and wrong turns
- the concrete decisions that made the difference
- the advice the guest would give their younger self
- a message for young people from BiH just starting out
First story — coming soon
Our first story is being recorded with actor Nebojša Milovanović. We talk about the road into acting, working across the region, and what it means to build a career from here. Coming soon — follow the channel and newsletter so you do not miss it.
Why a new series?
Because information alone is not enough. Alongside scholarships and internships, young people also need proof the path is possible — and that is best carried by people who have walked it.
